Uninstall Trend Micro Internet Security
3 options are available to uninstall Trend Micro
Uninstall from the Start menu
- Close all the process and files related to Trend Micro.
- Click Start>Programs or All programs>Trend Micro Internet Security>Uninstall Trend Micro Internet Security.
- A pop-up appears, click Yes to proceed the uninstall.
- Restart your PC.
Uninstall from the Control Panel
- Close all the process and files related to Trend Micro.
- Click Start>Control Panel.
- Double click Add/Remove Applet, choose Trend Micro Internet Security and click Remove.
- Click Yes to follow the pop-up to proceed.
- Restart your PC.
Uninstall with Perfect Uninstaller
Uninstall (most recommended when your Trend Micro is not corrupted or with errors)
- Run Perfect Uninstaller.
- Double click Trend Micro from the program list to start.
- Wait for the 3-step scanning of the related drivers, files and registry.
- Click Next to delete the drivers.
- Click Yes when a pop-up asks whether backup the registry information or not.
- Click Next to remove registry information and left files.
Force Uninstall (most recommended when your Trend Micro is corrupted or with errors)
- Close the process related to both Trend Micro and Perfect Uninstaller.
- Navigate to the directories where you install Trend Micro, such as, C: Program Files\ Trend Micro.
- Right-click the folder Trend Micro and choose Force Uninstall from the right-click menu.
- Pop-up shows up, click Next to uninstall the drivers and registry information as mentioned above.
