Nero Products are in good fame until  Nero 7 came, so many complaints flutter in both official and unofficial  forums about Nero7.

I have been having one problem after the other with Nero 7. I am not new to Nero, I have been using it for several years now. Nero is unable to burn a 352×480 NTSC DVD correctly. It often fails to exit from memory properly for no reason. Nero Vision fails to save your default settings. There is a bad bussing sound in the audio when adding a transition between video clips in Nero Vision. The size meter in Nero Vision disappears (Goes To Zero) when adding a new video file to the DVD Creation Menu. And the list goes on…

 I thought that Nero 7.7.5.1 would solve some of these problems but, not only did it not solve them it created new ones. I had to back off on it to Nero 7.5.9.0a, which does not work but at least I can use it to edit my videos. But, when you report these problems to Nero technical support they act like they are not problems at all. They act like it is something that you the user is doing wrong, even though you explain to them that you are not new to Nero and you know how it should be working! And when you finally get them to admit that there is a problem they have no idea how to fix it, when it will be fixed, if it will ever be fixed. They seem to offer almost no support in resolving your problems what so ever. I have had to resort to using third party free software to create DVD’s because I can not get these issues resolved through Nero. This is wrong and I should NOT have to be doing this!

These problems have not been going on for days, weeks, months, but over a year now!!!!! If you are new to Nero or thinking about buying Nero, “WOE UNTO YOU”. You had better be a technical guru. But, there in lays the problem, Nero is designed for the None-Technical person.

 I just recently bought Nero 7 Essential and I have Windows Vista. I should have done more research on the product before buying, but I never had a problem with Nero with my PC. Well when installing the product, Nero has a popup that says the install cannot complete. So Im trying to remove Nero but when uninstalling the program it denies me access. Im a little lost right now and would like to remove everything off my laptop that has Nero, any help would do, thanks!

I have tried using Neros clean up tool but it doesnt work, the easiest way possible, Im not computer smart, thanks in advance!

BTW this is the message that pops up when Im trying to install and uninstall Nero:

“A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”

I used to use nero until it played havoc with my pc.. and difficulty uninstalling it through add/and or remove. Message I received. ((Shellbase Manager is missing or corrupt)).I had to continue to go to run and do an regedit several times before it completely unsinstalled. Then downloaded it again and repated the same steps until i got fed up with Nero. I am tyring to burn my downloaded movies onto dvd.. Im a newbie at this and Original insallatiion Of Nero I had no problems until recently..I want to save them so as not to use up all my download as I an going to re-install xp..I since downloaded a few other programmes but so difficult to use. I did how ever found Nero to be easy to use.

How to uninstall Nero 7?

Nero Clean Tool is another tool from the Nero company that helps you uninstall Nero products according to the specific version.

1. Download the Nero 7 CleanTool, save this file to your desktop.
2. Double-click on the unzipped EXE-file to start the CleanTool. The window “Nero General Clean Tool” will open. The installed Nero version will be displayed.
3. Activate the checkboxes in the displayed Nero version. Then click the “Clean” button. A status window will open. The process of the tool may take several minutes.
4. Please wait until the progress bar has moved completely to the right.
5. In the window “Nero General Clean Tool” click the “Exit” button as soon as the erasing procedure is completed.
6. Reboot your computer. The Nero 7 CleanTool has removed all Nero entries from your computer.

How to uninstall a corrupted or part-installed Nero 7?

1. Here we go with Perfect Uninstaller, which can easily force uninstall a corrupted product without leaving registry or files related.
2. Download and install Perfect Uninstaller within 2 minutes from http://www.perfectuninstaller.com/download.php
3.  Get a serial number for Perfect Uninstaller.
4. Exit the Nero process, navigate to the directory where you install Nero7 in hard drive, rigth click the folder to select “Force Uninstall” to start.
5. Follow the pop-up and click the “Next” to the end within 2 minutes, reboot your PC and everything about Nero 7 on your PC is gone.

Above are two most easiest ways for non-tecnical users, which you go with a third party to uninstall and remove the Nero 7 from your PC.
